Saariselkä MTB Fatbike 15th February 2020
Saariselkä MTB Fatbike takes place on the 15th February 2020.
The race is Fatbike Finnish Championships but the race is open also for foreign participants. However, the championship title can only be given to a participant who is riding for a Finnish cycling club. Foreign participants don’t need a license.

What are the differences between the classes?
The race distance for classes M & W elite, M40, M50 and W40 is around 40-50km.
Juniors and adventure classes ride a track which is around 25km long. There are no timing or prizes for adventure class.
The registration fee includes
- number plate
- service along the track and in the finish
The registration fee is paid directly in the registration system. The fee can be paid by Visa or Mastercard.
Late registration is done by email or in the race office. Late registrations are paid by cash in the race office.
The race tracks run on the all new Saariselkä – Kiilopää winter trails. On both of the race tracks, there will be one service point.
Race center is located in Saariselkä, on the Aurora hut. Note, that it is not possible to drive by own car to the race area, because the hut is located inside the national park. Please leave your car to you accommodation, or to the closest public parking places which are marked to the map below. The distance from the parking places to the Aurora hut is less than 1km.
The aurora hut is warm and you can leave your belongings to the hut during the race.
Changes to the tracks are still possible if the weather conditions require it.
